Liz and John are very profitable people the breakfast was really good , table layout is well good you have everything at your finger tips ,will return there
Absolutely wonderful place to stay, rooms spacious, beautifully decorated and clean, very nice breakfast and the staff are very friendly, nice quiet remote location with some lovely views
situated in lovely peaceful grounds, owners are nice and welcoming and property is beautiful, rooms, bed and shower facilties clean and in good order.
I would highly recommend it to work travellers for a night or two, very relaxing, peaceful and natural space.
Very clean comfortable accommodation in a quiet and tranquil location. The owners have paid a lot of attention to detail. Some very nice touches around the place. Breakfast is a great feast.
Enjoyed our stay. The room in The Hay Loft was perfect. Very clean with everything we needed. Delicious breakfast. John and Liz were the perfect hosts. We shall definitely return.
Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay.
Situated just off the main road (A1120), this proved to be a homely and relaxing place to stay, within easy reach of the Suffolk coast around Dunwich. Clearly signposted, with ample car parking, a wholesome farmhouse breakfast and a lovely quiet garden, this was a real home from home. I took the single room in the old stable. This was neat, clean and cosy and had its own en suite with a powerful hot shower. Well recommended!
Stayed in the Squires room. You have to go up several narrow steps to get to the room but once there it’s lovely and clean, bed comfortable, just the right size. Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning, comes with cereal, fresh fruit and toast. Only downfall was some cereal or sauces were out of date. Made the owners aware as they may not have known. I’m sure all will be put right and I’d like to say we would stay again.
We stayed in the Little Maid's Room for just one night. Very comfortable room, with low ceilings and sloping floor - typical of the period (16th century!).
The stairs up to this room are very steep - not a problem for us but would be for many, so worth checking access.
Low ceilings meant that it has a bath but no shower.
Breakfast was "full English" - just what you need to set you up for the day. Great location to explore Suffolk!
Very peaceful, beautifully converted farm buildings. Excellent breakfast.
Not a complaint as such but quilt and pillows a bit lumpy, perhsps need replacing
We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone.
Lovely farmhouse in marvellous surroundings. Room was very good with a view of the extensive garden and it was SO beautifully quiet. Owner was very friendly and made sure our stay was enjoyable.
Many thanks. Would definitely stay there again.
We both had a lovely stay in the annexe of the farmhouse, it was quiet. The room and bathroom were clean. We were made welcome by the hosts. The breakfast was of good standard in a pleasant room with excellent views.
Lovely relaxing countryside venue. Warm welcome, really comfortable night's sleep in a charming countryside spot. Excellent value for money, if a tad difficult to find! Will look to return.
Quiet and peaceful in lovely rural surroundings. The breakfast setting with fresh fruit, juice and cereals on the table was beautifully arranged. The shower was easy to operate, fully enclosed and there was immediate hot water - having stayed in many hotels before where this was not the case - this was something greatly appreciated.
