"I had a lovely time staying at this hotel. I arrived at 8am after a red eye flight, and to my luck my room was ready. I stayed in the room with the twin bed. It was small, but perfect for my solo trip. I had a great view of the Kensington Gardens. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic location too, a short walk from Notting Hill and Hyde Park. When I return to London, I will definitely stay here. "

"First room was quite noisy, was able to change rooms to a much quiter location. Breakfast was varied and filling. Location is great, multiple restaurants and few minutes to Bayswater tube stop."

"Good experience for a cheaper hotel. We stayed in London for 5 nights and had no issues in our standard double room. There was a little vanity-type area to get ready which was nice. The building is quite old, but brings a lot of charm. Wouldn’t hesitate to return back to the Columbia. "

"It’s a small hotel with boutique vibes, which we really liked – it felt personal, friendly and welcoming rather than corporate. The staff were warm and helpful, and the whole place had a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The location is excellent – around 10 minutes from Hammersmith and the tube station – but set in a quiet, safe area so you’re away from the hustle and bustle when you want to relax. "Enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was within 5mins walking distance to the train station thus convenient & the station had many eateries & local supermarket Sainbury’s and Tesco. The room was very clean, slightly small but bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good with fresh eggs, bacon, sausages, yogurt, pastries and fruits. Thank you for the enjoyable stay. "

"I was disappointed to find that there were no water or amenities refills on my last day. As these are basic expectations for any hotel stay, I was surprised that they weren’t provided. I hope this can be addressed for future guests. This keeps the feedback clear and constructive! Frankly, this will be my last visit to Novotel."
