"Our direct flight from Honolulu arrived early in the morning so we were at the hotel about midmorning. We asked Abigail, the front office clerk, for an early registration. She searched and found a room for us. It was a corner room next to the elevator. It was clean and quiet despite being next to the elevator. Although the view was of some bushes, part of the highway, and part of the ocean it was a great room bc of its location in the hotel and size. It was more than adequate. Rooms are cleaned...

"Such a quaint older facility just a stones throw from the beach!! Certainley enjoyed the location...enjoyed the beach, the surfers and waling about 20 yards from room to beach!! Restaurants within walking distance, so convenient and the food was delicious!"

"Arrived early and was able to get checked into my room an hour early. Great service and friendly staff. Glad for the wifi as there is no cellular service in that area. Room was clean and nice. The view was beautiful seeing the ocean and hearing ocean at night."

"The view of the ocean was nice. But nothing else was. The hotel was quite dirty. The carpet in my room was sticky, wet in spots (when I tried to mop the wet spot with tissues, to make sure it wasn't urine, the tissue came up damp and absolutely filthy). The staff were sometimes nice, often grumpy and didn't seem to be focused on guests. Lots of cigarette butts laying around the property, especially in the parking lot. Strange smells. "We love the shops and the pier being very close. Great location"

"Property was as described , very clean and well supplied with a beautiful ocean view. Location is convenient but on a very steep hill so not really walkable and a challenge to pull in/ out of driveway with neighbors’s cars as close as possible to edges of driveway. I was only able to communicate with Expedia reps before check in. Tried reaching out with a question during stay but no answer."

"Ideal for overnight layovers. I arrived at SFO at 9pm and had a 13 hour international layover. The Grand Hyatt was ideal for me because it’s attached to the airport I avoided hotel shuttles or other ground transportation. My preference when traveling in unfamiliar areas, particularly at night and solo. The room was a bit pricey but the ease of access was a balanced trade off. I didn’t have to leave the airport."

"First night Had issues with the induction stovetops. Costing 70$ for food to be delivered and wasted 40$ of groceries that could not be cooked , Staff couldn’t figure out how to fix on the second day of the stay, So I called the manufacturing company and YouTube instructions and fixed myself, Remote for the tv wouldn’t work. Batteries dead and contacts were dirty. No worries got replacement from the front desk and worked fine after. Third issue second day, coffee machine was hit or miss mostly...

"The room was nice and very clean. Breakfast wasn’t super good, but enough to start our day. The big issue is the parking, not enough parking spaces, they told us that we have to park on the street! One truck was taking two spaces, and they said the owner was out town, so it can’t be moved. We wasn’t the only ones, other guests were also complaining"

"Plenty of parking, rooms were okay. No extra lotions or shampoos/conditioners available. The breakfasts were also okay… a combination of some cooked foods and Costco fare."

"When I arrived the room had red liquid in jacuzzi tub I called front desk she came and looked and said she had no other rooms to move me to. She said she was messaging the manager to give me a discount which never happened. The room had mold and was dirty I will never stay here again"
