Best place in Kurunegala region to get an amazing panoramic view of the area. It is just a 30 minutes hike from the bottom of the rock. There's a giant 60m tall Buddha statue at the top of the rock as well. It is pretty much the landmark of Kurunegala region. Not a big tourist attraction. But worth a visit if you have some free time.

The out stretched hand like part in the map of Sri Lanka is called to be Kalpitiya. If you have enough time in Sri Lanka, it is worth to have a journey to this part of the Island. The scenery of wind turbines during the evening is simply amazing.
