The restaurant was excellent as were the ales and wine list.
Good location for the South West Coast Path and bus service stops right outside.
Breakfast supplied by the nearby Farm Shop was delicious.
In the right area to where we wanted to visit beautiful area a lot to visit and see along the coast where we stopped we were happy and had a great time sorry to leave thanks

Nice little village and nice pub dog friendly good food and nice breakfast at ducks
Lovely location, friendly staff and a fantastic room that doesnt feel like a hotel. It was nice and comfy and the bed was good. Nice shower, very clean place.
Only issue for me what that the big cupboard near my head seems to hold a boiler or water tank, at 4am it sounded like someone had turned on a shower next to me, and that was on and off for the next 2.5hrs. Some people probably could slee through it but im a light sleeper so it proved a problem for me.
I dont want that to detract from what is a lovely place, but its worth mentioning as it did rather change the quality of my stay and maybe people havent mentioned it before.
We spent four nights at the Kings Arms on a recent trip to visit family. We’ve stayed there previously but, unfortunately, the rooms are looking a little shabby. First off, there was no wifi in the room; the repeater didn’t work. The rooms need a re-fresh: We stayed in the Jurassic suite and the mattresses and pillows were from that era. Also, the room needed a deep clean; the upholstery was badly stained. Despite all this, it’s a lovely place to stay. The cleaning staff were pleasant and helpful. The adjoining pub and breakfasts were great. The place has character but needs some TLC.
The room was clean and spacious. The bed was large and comfortable. The pillows could be better (quite flat). The bathroom was adequate. We loved how quiet/silent it was in the room.
We really enjoyed having food and drinks at the pub. The breakfast at the local farmshop was ok (they were out of some options both days).
Easy/quick drive to Weymouth.
Lovely room but had to close the curtains for privacy when sunny as on ground floor.
Shame

Pretty standard pub type accommodation. Room comfortable, bathroom very small. Property badly needs money spending on its external fabric which spoils the whole appearance of the place
Room was good, nice furnishings and comfy bed. Lovely breakfast at Duck cafe.
No sign of clock radio as described or Cowshed toiletries - they were generic.
Bathroom was in need of a good scrub and the curtains dragged on the floor so the bottom 30cm were filthy.
However good location& friendly staff
We did choose the hottest day to stay so the room was quite hot !
A picturesque Dorset pub with very comfortable rooms. I had dinner at the pub which was great, plus included breakfast at cafe round the corner which was also delicious. I hope to be back again soon

Kings Arms review May 2024
Room slightly tired but a good size and a comfortable bed. Good restaurant quality evening meals and good breakfast in their companion Farm Shop situated a few yards walk from the Kings Arms. Would be happy to stay there again.

Nice short stay
Kings arms is a lovely place rooms where big and clean internet tv was no good at all
Food was ok but expensive and a long wait
Easy to get into Weymouth which is what we wanted.
Breakfast was in a cafe around the corner so not on site but it was lovely
Everything was great, the room, the food and the pub. The staff were friendly, polite and friendly. The only problem was the breakfast didn’t start until 8am which is a little late for a business traveller but amazing cooked to order breakfast. Will definitely come back.
Excellent pub food and very welcoming staff. The room was quite comfortable once we got it warmed up but some attention should be given to the doors so that they open and close more easily and perhaps add some lighting on the stairs. These are small in the overall scheme of things though. The breakfast at the nearby farm shop was outstanding.
Easy access to many of Dorset South Coast highlights Room for as very nice, very quiet, but a little dated. Only thing I would say is if you are counting on wifi to do a lot of work it was a bit spotty in our room. Other than that an excellent location with good food, good atmosphere and great staff.
Lovely room, way too hot though, had to tuen off the towel radiator & open the windows. Nice evening meal, service was a bit slow as there were two large tables & I was on my own
Lovely village setting for the pub. The accommodation comprises 3 rooms across a single storey extension to the pub. Nice and quiet. Great for a short stay. Breakfast is at the nearby farm shop/cafe just a couple of minutes walk. Food was fresh and tasty. Evening meal in the pub was equally nice. Plenty of inside and outside seating with a large decking area and a lawned area.
