Booked for a business booking, guys were very happy with the place. Clean, as described and very reasonably priced. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Thank you!

Restaurant was lovely. The beds were fairly comfortable. They provided tea in the rooms. That is about the best I can say. We arrived to find dirty towels in our shower. We brought this to management's attention and they sent someone to clean the shower for us and replace the towel. There was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. Because it is over a pub it was extremely noisy from patrons talking/shouting/carrying on outside the window.

As a solo travel the single room was perfect for me. Small but perfectly comfortable the had thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay. All staff I encountered were very friendly and nothing was any trouble. I would highly recommend this place. An excellent 2 night stay.

The WiFi situation was poor (that’s a must these days because guests need to be able to access the internet) and the TV wasn’t the best experience. There was a lot of road noise early in the morning. The bed was “super comfortable” and the shower was excellent. 7/10 for the breakfast. The staff were lovely.

We got a free upgrade to an apartment, the bed wasn't as comfortable as our previous stay. The entrance way smelled of wet dog and dog urine. The room was nice and had little complimentary items which was nice. Last time we stayed we had an amazing breakfast. This time it was disappointing, the eggs were watery and undercooked, the orange juice tasted funky, possibly due to being watered down by ice cubes. We were really looking forward to that breakfast as it was amazing last time. The lady serving breakfast in morning seemed a little down compared to the previous time we stayed also. We will probably stay again as the location is okay for us and we like the place. Just a bad experience on this occasion.

The room was lovely, very clean, as bit on the small side, but for 1 night that wasn't an issue. The bed was very comfortable. Shower worked well. Breakfast was lovely and made to order, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue, we were exhausted and hoping for a good night's sleep, unfortunately below us in the pub they had a very loud music set up, that didn't stop at 11pm, playing "one last song" a few times and finally stopped around 11:20. Due to health conditions and sensory disabilities I was quite overwhelmed by this. Once it ended though we slept okay.

Great breakfast (packed up up too ) and great start to the day . Friendly staff and convenient bar downstairs yet surprisingly quiet enough . There are ear plugs if you need them but I did not :) definite recommend and a new favourite .

Lovely old world character pub, cheap beer, lively sports / music, good breakfast, friendly staff, ideal for short stay in local area. Room basic but clean & decent enough for my needs as a 1 night stay, comfortable bed, good water power in shower which was lovely to cool down and clean up in after a day in the hot weather. Of note in deciding to book a stay: pub was lively so could be a bit too noisy for some later at night, no aircon in accommodation (but a fan to waft the hot air around is provided !) and the road noise in early hours could be an issue if you are a light sleeper (obviously outside the control of the premises however, worth accounting for if one of your priorities is a good nights sleep). Overall, decent value for money and even if I book to stay there next time I'd still visit again for the ambience of the place.

Overnight stay for Tankfest. A perfect venue, a busy pub atmosphere and plenty of choice for food. A good place to stay if you want to tour the area

Wow, what a great stay lovely clean room, very cosy cottage feel.Great pub food and drinks.The staff were all lovely.Oir breakfast was great.We will be back for sure
