Good location, overlooking the beech, and close to the shops, restaurants, and buses services (Weymouth is well served by its buses). The proprietors look after their guests very well (thank you for getting the oat milk especially!). A comfortable bed and pillows were much appreciated.

Stayed two nights in February, Sarah was so helpful and Jamie’s breakfasts are amazing. The view of the Lifeboat from the room was perfect. The location is brilliant too, easy access to the beach and the harbour. I would highly recommend staying.

Our room faced the quay with a lovely view of the boats and pretty houses on the other side. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our breakfast and Sarah, the owner, was very helpful. We stayed overnight and were out most of the time exploring the area and enjoying the great local seafood.

Lovely beachfront hotel

Lovely beachfront hotel in a perfect location close to the harbour and town centre. Very nice full English breakfast in dining room overlooking the beach. The owners were very helpful and made our stay a pleasure. Look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at The Anchorage, Sarah and Jamie were excellent host and made our stay very comfortable. The room overlooking the bay was stunning and loved sitting in the window watching the world go by. Perfect location for restaurants, pubs and shops. Would highly recommend

Great stay at lovley Hotel

We just arrived home after great stay at The Anchorage Weymouth and have to say it was One of the Best Hotels we have been to and we go to Weymouth a lot. Our hosts Sarah&Jamie were warm and friendly Our room was spacious and very clean really good shower in ensuite bed very comfortable and great view of the harbour from our window. And finally breakfast plentiful and very nice.

Great location, great hosts

Grast guest house, and Sarah was a fantastic host. Very attentative and had a great knowledge of the area. Freshly cooked breakfast every day. And the guest house is in a great location the sea in front and working harbour behind. Our room had a lovely bay window where we sat and watched the world go by. Would stay again and would recommend

Fresh, clean decor. Very welcoming hostess. Comfortable and spacious room. Comfy bed. Ensuite with walk in shower. Clean and well maintained throughout. Good breakfast. Perfect for visiting the Pavilion Theatre, 2 minutes walk away and the huge beach, just across the road. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

Welcoming check in with friendly and professional service. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room had a wonderful view of the beach and was light and airy with huge windows the bed comfortable and very quiet at night. The breakfast was nicely presented and enjoyable. If we were to nit pick, although the shower cubicle was glass, it was rather small and a flexible hose to the shower head, as opposed to the rigid pipe would be a great improvement.

The Anchorage long weekend stop for a solo guest

Nice location, between the beach and the harbour. Very hospitable hosts, who welcomed me on the first day and maintained a cheerful approach throughout my stay. First class breakfast and although not strictly ensuite bathroom, there was a dedicated bathroom a floor down just for me which was excellent.

Had a lovely stay at The Anchorage. Very welcoming hosts . Very helpful as I needed a early check in . They could not do enough fir me . Very comfy room and bed . Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again . Great location as well . Very close to all the local places

Close to town beach views from top floor room. Lovely hosts. Room was clean and quiet bed very comfortable. Tea and Coffee in room. Toilet outside room but next door so not a problem for me. Freshly cooked breakfast was lovely.
