"Top notch cleanliness. A most perfect hotel right on the seafront but also close to the harbour. Lovely couple running it, super friendly, attentive and determined that my stay is as perfect as it could be. This is hotel accomodation at its best. The breakfast is terrific with a great choice of fresh fruit and yoghurt. There's also granolas- three kinds! Plus regular cereals. You can pick from the generous selection of cooked foods. "The location of the property was great very close to sea and town. The gentleman who checked us in was cheerful and helpful. Unfortunately didn't get much sleep one of the other residents seemed to be up all night talking loudly with others. Only booked this due to short notice ... you do get what you pay for."

"Had a really great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was excellent. The location was also very convenient. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again."

"Owner left me the keys for a late check in after I travelled up by train"

"Super schönes und großes Zimmer. Leckeres Frühstück und freundliche Gastgeber. Parken in der Straße vor dem Haus kein Problem."

"Sarah was an excellent host. She shared her restaurant recommendations and local attractions to visit. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning. The location was perfect as it was close to the harbour, beach, shopping, and the train and bus locations. Our stay in Weymouth turned out to be our favourite during our 2 week holiday. I highly recommend the Anchorage."

"Clean and very friendly and helpful owner. Good parking onsite."

"We were allowed in a bit early as we came by train. The owner Sue is super friendly as were her staff We were right on the beach and could leave the sash windows open for air and to hear the sea. Breakfast was hot and excellent and it’s right next to 2 restaurants with a corner shop behind. The main Sandy beach is only 10 minutes away and the shops are only 15 minutes away Perfect"
