"Great location right at the water’s edge. Property could do with painting here and there and the bathroom taps needed some attention. Water pressure was low so shower was not great. Fire alarm went off twice in the early hours of the first day and it took the staff ages to get the alarm light to go out in our room."

However, bearing in mind the price for overnight stays we found the room and room facilities were far below average for this class/cost of hotel. The room had a harbour view which was excellent but this said the actual room and facilities felt very 'tired', in need of an update and lacking certain facilities that other hotels in this price range would normally have. "Price Paid via Expedia excluded breakfast. This was NOT made clear on Expedia website The price paid was identical to the normal room price INCLUDING breakfast charged by the hotel. We, therefore, were charged £29.90 for a service we were denied because of Expedia. Room lacked a fridge."

"So lovely here the hotel is great all staff are so lovely will defo return next time i will ask for a bath in the bathroom as i did struggle with shower as i have disabilities but it was 2 late for me to get a room like that but thats my fault not theirs.The restaurant in there is on point had a lush steak n garlic mushrooms also crumble for pudding also was lovely and the breakfast was also fab the staff work hard in there and got to say prices at the bar are the best ever and we played bingo...

"Stayed here a few days for a personal retreat, to have a nice quiet place to sit and work, in pleasant surroundings. This place was perfect for that. Ticked all my boxes: parking, en-suite bathroom, desk in room. There is a common area with microwave oven and cutlery and plates/bowls and tea/coffee (there is tea/coffee and kettle in the room anyway), so I never ran out of hot drinks. The view outside my window was very pleasant - a green field sloping up to some houses in the distance. Just what...
