"Location is superb, 100 ft to Chippenham bus station, and leads than 10 minutes bistro from the train station. Room is spacious, so is the bathroom, big and renovated. Courtyard is nice. There is a leisure pool at site too. Huge parking lot at back. The buffet breakfast offered was full English style and truly great. Staffs were super friendly. "Die Unterkunft hat uns als Familie von 3 sehr gefallen! Das Zimmer war sauber, Harry und Eliza waren sehr freundlich und haben uns alle Fragen ruhig und zuvorkommend beantwortet. Das Frühstück war gut und hat uns geschmeckt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen, gerade auch weil die Lage ideal ist, um Bath zu erkunden."

"Hotel was clean and staff friendly. It was very hot and room was unbearable at times due to lack of air con. Fan was provided but was inadequate. Surprised to be charged service charge on afternoon tea and evening meal on top of normal charges without being informed in advance. This considering we received our tea but no cups and then the food but no plates."

Checking in was easy although it would have been helpful to have two room keys. The woman on the desk did not seem entirely in the same world as everyone else. "Property is very clean. Only thing is the rooms are to small. My fault for not paying attention to the advertising. However despite that it’s very good. Complimentary wine and cheese for loyalty membership. Again very good but if you need room space it’s different. If I had been traveling alone this would not matter"

"A perfect room for visiting Bath. The room was very large well decorated and very comfortable. The host Richard was a Joy very attentive to any of our needs and full of interesting stories. Breakfast in the dining room was something special complete with a spectacular dumb waiter. We will certainly be back!"

"The staff are lovely, and the property and gardens are beautiful (although they’re not quite as new or updated as the photos make it seem). It’s more of a charming quiet calm hotel in the countryside. My only issue was that the carpet had tons of large stains on it, which was rather gross and I’d expect a hotel to have a vacuum cleaner that can take stains out of the carpet. My second issue was there was no chair or desk in the room. I didn’t care that the tv only had 4 channels- all the other...
