"A thoroughly enjoyable one night stay at The Beach hut. Many thoughtful extras made for a relaxed and comfortable break. Fresh milk in a fridge, also some half bottles of wine, were most welcome! The room was delightful, calm and well decorated, also peaceful, despite facing the road. Parking at the rear slightly hazardous as there’s a rookery to avoid! We took some mementos home on our car windscreen. Wonderful choice of breakfasts! "

"Nice staff, pleasant property. The room was beautifully decorated but was like a sauna & we couldn’t cool it down. The bed was super comfy and the food very good. They catered for my gluten allergy very well. "

"Well the hotel is pleasant and characterful. The heating was stuck on in the room with only a small window to open. Unbearable poor nights sleep. On complaining nothing could be done apparently so we were moved to another room. Which was much better. "

"We booked 2 sea view rooms for 3 nights. Only one room had a sea view and the bathroom in that room had black mould around the ceiling. The other room had a very old mattress and the bedding was old and thin. The pillows in that room were flat. We checked out after 1 night and will not be back. Whilst the staff were friendly, this hotel needs refurbishment, new mattresses, new duvets, pillows, blankets and linen. Mould is injurious to health and no hotel of the calibre that this hotel...

"The Copper Beeches is a 15 minute walk from the South Downs Way. I received a very warm welcome and my stay couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you so much. "

"We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!"

"On arrival our room was upgraded to a large seaview room with a walk in shower which was a very nice welcome. The Pump room bar is excellent with a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food both at breakfast and in the evening venues is top notch. Dining is a particular highlight which should not be missed with a very good menu expertly prepared and served to a really high standard. "

"Absolute amazing place to stay and the staff were so so friendly, always smiling, in a good mood and happy to help. The breakfast selection was brilliant from cereal to croissants to eggs benedict royale. Room was extremely clean on 1st inspection and was continued throughout the stay by the maids. Bar was awesome too. Dedicated parking too which was very helpful and not like other properties in area. We will definitely be staying here again 100%"
