"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"We had such a fantastic stay. The hotel is right opposite two bus stops which take you right to Newport, Ryde and Sandown and there is a Co-Op just down the road. The staff were so welcoming and exceptionally friendly. The room was restocked daily and cleaned beautifully. The food on the restaurant was outstanding. It can be a bit noisy until 11 due to it being a pub but it was not ongoing and we were not disturbed by it. We could not have asked for another place to stay."

"Most things okay, but as is too often the case, the secure cycle storage requested and confirmed in the booking stage didn't exist! Really not happy leaving an irreplaceable bespoke bicycle in the cleaner's room!"

It was showing some signs of 'old age' with a bit of plaster coming off the ceiling and dated furniture but the hotel is undergoing a lot of refurbishment and modern furniture would probably not be in keeping in an older building. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as was the bar facilities. The restaurant was pleasant and the menu typical Greene King. "The bedding and towels were lovely and clean, couldn't fault. The shower tray left a lot to be desired, along with the shower mat and windowsill. There was no way of opening/closing the windows as they were too high. The same with the curtains. A long bamboo rod attached to the top could help with opening/closing? Staff? Hardley saw a soul in the 4 days I was there. The breakfast was sufficient for what I needed."
