Hair dryer also only blew cold air - sure it would have also been replaced quickly but I ran out of time. Ordered room service (chicken burger and chips), it was perfectly fine however the £20 price (would have been an extra £6 had I not collected) was grossly inflated for what you received - just chips on the side,...

"There were a number of things that made our stay worth a recommendation for others. Lovely old British-style Inn feel. Easy walk to the underground station. Quiet rooms. Easy check in. Great breakfast. Responsive management. Clean. Toiletries supplied. Teacup big enough for a good cup. Tea, coffee, and milk supplied in room. And the adorable kettle for hot water. "The room was perfectly adequate for one night, but it did not have tea or coffee. However, a 24 hour multimix tea/coffee/chocolate dispenser, free, is available adjacent to reception. Don’t expect haut cuisine either. The dinner menu includes meat balls with pasta. I asked if I could have meat balls with mashed potato but no, the meals come prepacked so substitutions are not possible. The meal came with a small bowl of peas and if I was in charge of the kitchen I’d be embarrassed to serve...

"We had difficulty obtaining the check in information. This was through Vrbo so you are given the code to a lock box with the keys to the building and your room. We stood in the rain for about 30 minutes trying to get the information. The room itself was good. There was a nice bed and a huge closet. We stayed one night and a reasonable price. There is a hotel with a restaurant open to the public about 2 blocks away. Great pizza and beer. "
