"The Hampton Inn by Hilton North Hollywood is clean, staff are friendly and provided us with good breakfast. At first, we thought the surrounding area was a little sketchy. However, the service we received outweighs the surrounding area. We felt safe knowing that there’s a security especially monitoring the parking underground the building. "Our room was slightly dated but was to be expected considering it’s a motel. Was a great location with Warner Brothers less than a 10 minute walk away and lots of great restaurants nearby (we had a lovely lunch at girl and the chicken!). Would recommend for anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in a safe neighbourhood whilst in LA. "

"The room was not how it was shown in the pictures. There were bugs in the tube when we got there. We had roaches coming in the room. Thank god we weren’t staying in the hotel room the entire time, just to sleep but even with that we weren’t too comfortable sleeping in there because of the conditions the room was in. "We stayed here while visiting Universal Studios. This hotel is so much better than Hilton or Sheraton, and is a fraction of the price. The hourly shuttle to CityWalk was great. Staff was friendly, rooms were stellar, and the environment was so fun! Nightly movies in the pool and complimentary wine in the room was fantastic. We will definitely stay here in the future. "

"The room was disgusting. There were stains on the bedsheets and we woke up with bed bug bites. While watching TV we saw a cockroach crawling on the wall. Not to mention the tub was clogged so the water would pool up. The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. "
