"The Vic was conveniently well located near the train station and walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. It is a self check in and there is a well stocked kiosk for coffee, snacks and convenience items. It is connected to a hotel with full staff and a restaurant, though we didn’t need either for our trip. One of our group did need help with checking in, and was able to find someone there to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we easily walked to/from the train station. "

"The young man at the desk was great upon check in. Recommended a place to eat to see the town and even called us a car and made reservations. Very appreciative towards the end of our trip when we were tired of figuring out where to eat!"

"Yes, the breakfast was good and fresh. We didn’t need any parking facilities, as we used public transport, buses and trains. The hotel is right next door to Leiden train station, so very handy. "

"Quiet neighborhood on the canal which is convenient to explore Leiden or go to the beach but there is no town with shops or restaurants to walk to. We had the suite, but it is just a large room so if you want a separate bedroom for privacy, this is not a suite by American standards."

"Stayed in room on the 6th floor close to elevator and maybe a custodial closet? Constant noise of doors opening and shutting. Shower was leaking but it worked. Water pressure could be better. Staff was amazing: Friendly and helpful!"

"The hotel was actually quite nice, but the location wasn’t good for us. There were no restaurants, shops or sights writhing walking distance and we had no car, so anything we wanted to do or see was a 20 Euro ride away."
