"The ryokan was a very special experience. A beautiful place to stay in historic Kurashiki. It was a treat to be in such a uniquely Japanese space with the tatami floor, the futon and the special bath. Lovely staff too. "

"Great hotel and close to ferry. Onsen nearby was a bonus. Restaurant was great"
"convenient location, closed by visiting points. Onsen is comfortable and have free massage chairs. Free coffees, cold drinks, and provide ramen from 9:30 - 11:00 pm."
"A very nice hotel at a very fair price. We did make an error in not checking the location. It is about 30 minutes out of central Kurashiki. This required a local train which runs every 30 mins or so. There were some restaurants close by and we both enjoyed the Onsen baths. So swings and roundabouts but enjoyed our stay."
