"Newly renovated, clean and well maintained."

"Wonderful and welcoming "old school" motel on the Rockport/Rockland border. Beautiful trees and greenery insulate the property from the road noise of Route 1. Our room had a back porch looking out on trees and flowers. Friendly staff welcomed us, and greeted us again for our free and delicious breakfast on the breezy cool porch of the main house. My wife and I will stay here again on our next trip to Maine. Five Stars!"

"This property was clean, quiet, great staff! Dominica was a delight and gave us ideas for sightseeing! We enjoyed the lovely patio with bonfire in the e evening. Beds were very comfy and sheets felt great"

"Room was clean upon arrival. Bathroom had a urine smell that was unpleasant, although the motel was recently renovated. The room was loud due to traffic and the A/C unit was blasting when on. This was the most uncomfortable thing. I slept with headphones and my children used earbuds. Overall we had a ok stay."

"The hotel grounds were lovely, the room was clean, neat, well appointed. The balcony overlooking the water was beautiful. It was relaxing and although we didn’t use the pool, others did and it is a lovely setting, well maintained."

"Basci clean however when u really lo9k in bathroom needs a serious cleaning. TV blurry, no breaksfast cold coffee, e things was pick over at 7am just not very appetizing room was dirty, the photography showed waterfront instead our view was in noisy parking lot . Will not stay again and I think I was charged incorrectly and will have to look into it."

"the overall feel and environment of the inn. Plenty of open space to settle down by oneself or with friends to relax, read or play a game. Breakfast was excellent and the staff informative, helpful and courteous. I am also a fan of Edna St Vincent Millay and to remember that she read her poetry at the Inn was a plus. The walk to town was easy and the old homes along the way as well at the trees and flowers will provide a peaceful joy to your day."

"Such a fun unique property. Like going to some camp. Every detail was well thought out. Campfire with s'mores in the evening... No problem. The cotton little breakfast was great.. Even homemade bagels."
