"Two nights stay at the Wild Pheasant hotel in Llangollen combined with steam train trip. Ideally situated ( 10 minutes walk into town centre) alongside the river Dee"

"Great location. 10min walk into Betws-y-coed. Loads of parking at the hotel. We stayed in a Delux Double room which had recently been renovatated and it was beautiful with a huge comfy bed, a sofa, a modern bathroom, separate free standing bath in the bedroom plus a outside seating area. The bath was ideal to relax in after a day exploring. Our only issue was finding a large clump of hair on the bathroom floor which the cleaners must have missed. Not a major problem, we simply picked it up...

"Lovely Hotel, good choice of restaurants & bars. Stayed in the Cottage, lovely bedroom & bathroom, but next rooms bathroom was behind our bed and very noisy when anyone went the toilet. That was the only downside to a lovely stay"

"Slighly faded glory old character hotel. Some money has been spent on communal areas and the swimming pool and spa are decent. Would rather stay here than the chain hotel options."
