"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The grounds were experiencing the change of seasons so likely less stunning than what summer and wjnter wpuld offer, alas still fresh and inviting. Meal choices were savoury anx seemed to be appealing to those around me. For me with Crohns, a little restrictive. I imagine in season would be broader selection, so understandable. "

"I was cycling camping through Norway but hit a patch of terrible weather and found the nearest hotel and that turned out to be the marvelous Grand. Idk but something about this place is so compelling and downright charming. There are so many marvelous details and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in Scandinavia. "Hyggelig betjening. Litt mye rot rundt omkring, men tror det er imagen til hotellet. Vi opplevde kloakklukt på rommet, uteplassen ved rommet kan være hyggelig, men den var ikke stelt, masse ugress og ikke egnet å sitte ved, dessverre. Badet var veldig mørkt og klønete å måtte stå/sitte i badekaret for å dusje. God og delikat frokost. "
