"The Mayflower is a secret gem hidden in plain sight (if you look at the shell you'll miss the pearl inside). The rooms are immaculately clean, and done very tastefully with hardwood floors to accentuate it all. The bathrooms and showers appear to be newly renovated. The only addition I'd recommend is to add boiled eggs to the continental breakfast offerings. I had an amazing stay and the place was quiet so a great night's sleep which is most important."

"Breakfast was spectacular. Elevator takes forever and is small; so plan on waiting or use stairs. Pet friendly. Pool was packed and the other guests were extremely rude, throwing items at my daughter causing severe welts and bruises. While this is not the hotels fault; there should be a max capacity for pool guests as it was so busy it was unenjoyable. Luggage carts are in the shape of a triangle and not sturdy, your luggage will fall right off. "

"The first room we checked into had food in the freezer and the toilet wasn't working. The second room had a working toilet and was cleaner, but I don't know why I paid $20 more for a "king suite with separate seating area" as it was one room. It looked like the pictures on the website for the "studio king room." The pool was fun, but hadn't been cleaned overnight. There was foam from someone's pool toy all over the pool deck and in the pool. Finally we went to breakfast, and all of the empty...

"Hotel was busy, lots of kids, but not noisy. Breakfast was well stocked and staff kept everything fresh and tables clean."

"Overall enjoyable stay. There was some unfinished construction/remodeling in some of the hallways which was a bit off-putting. Pool area had a sign up that the hot tub was out of order, but it seemed to be functioning when I tried it. When I first entered my room, there was an odd dust-like substance on part of the comforter and on the floor next to the HVAC unit. I wiped it with a towel. The room was otherwise clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the location was very ideal for me....

"The beds were lifted extra high and hard to get on them. And there was no heat in the room when we entered?! It was March.. in Madison.. so the room was 40 degree! Took a long time to warm the room. Front desk manager was wonderful and very helpful!"

"Carpets torn, holes in the walls, doors propped open and people smoking pot at the lobby entry. Stay away!"

"There was no hot tub like listed, i got a text that the pool would be open... it wasnt, on top of that the shower head didn't work properly and sprayed left and right as you tried to get in. The tv also didnt really work as it kept losing signal and was just a frozen screen. Otherwise, it was a nice spot for a short time, the rooms look pretty nice and so do the halls ways. Nice and quiet too. So overall, not to bad and overall was fine "

"Not many varieties for breakfast. Pillows had a stale smell. Could have used a Lysol spray to them. I bring one along so I did use Otherwise clean and well maintained hotel. Staff very pleasant "

"The breakfast menu was limited but nice. The cooked food was warm and presented nicely. The utensils could be better for disposable items but everything was fresh and the dining area was very clean."

"Hot tub was green, pool was very small and cold, room was infested with ants, bathroom was not the cleanest. Had to get your own toiletries. Very disappointed in this establishment! We will never be back!"

"Air conditioner kept our room very comfortable. We had great parking close to door. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was awesome with lots of options hot and cold, courteous staff and food was always kept full. "
