Look somewhere else

Made reservation and was contacted while in route to Landmark Inn. Was told there was a plumbing issue and room there was not available. Was told they had a cottage (Sandpiper) that was nicer. Got there at 1030pm. Went to take a shower and all towels were dirty...piled in shower. I texted and was told they would get me towels in the morning. I thought the rest of the cabin was good to go until I turned the bedding down. Dirt and human body hairs easily showing on the white sheets. Texted that I was leaving. Was told there were no other rooms and would get a full refund. I sent pics of what I had found. Then was offered another cabin (Heron). It was cleaner. It is my understanding that the owner has many guest properties in this area...so beware. I have kept all conversations/texts for future reference.

Perfect for what I needed: Inexpensive place to sleep that was clean and functional. Kitchenette saved on food, bed inspected and very clean with NO BEDBUGS. A/C worked, Wifi worked. Management helpful and responsive to texts. Area is not the nicest, but not dangerous at all. Even right next to the road (Unit closest to road), did not have a lot of noise.

Caribbean Shores/Jensen Beach Motel- A Modest Stay

Finding a low cost accommodation in the tourist corridor may be a challenge. Caribbean Shores in Jensen Beach provides the bare necessities: a clean room, tiny bathroom with stall shower, and a 2 burner kitchenette with mini-refrigerator. Free Wi-Fi is also available. The downside for those who watch TV: although there are lots of channels available, only free TV channels are accessible.

Definitely will be staying here from now on.

Stayed here for the first time for only a couple of days. Worth every penny. Clean, extremely comfortable, tons of cable channels to choose from. I only slept and showered and then went out. There was an apartment style kitchen to use, only used the fridge and the sink so can't comment on how good the stovetop was. Slept like a baby.

Worst hotel ever

No office on site. We & hotels.com Unable to contact hotel management to discuss booking problems, unruly drug using persons outside room, no heat in room, broken shower head spewing water on floor, vandalism to my vehicle. Complete communication and hotel breakdown-hotels.com got involved over days attempting to contact this hotel and could not. Credit card charges disputed. Police report filed with Martin county sheriffs office for vandalism to my vehicle
