"New hotel with many things finding their places. Good: brand new hotel. Rooms being used for the first time. Personnel very friendly. Central location with nice views . Good breakfast. Bad: renovations still ongoing around. Views good partially - contruction work and wip area not the best sight until completed nearby. Also Hotel still has some contruction related issues to be fixed, like dripping sink (fixed on request), bathroom air flow that was apparently turned off as nothing dried...

"Great location close to shops, supermarket, cafes and harbour and not nearly as hilly as Torshavn. Very comfortable bed, good sized room (we paid extra for larger room) small but adequate bathroom. Amazing harbour views. Mini fridge in room was useful. Coffee maker with 2 free capsules, 1 teabag. 2 glasses but no cups, no spoon, no milk or sugar. "While the rooms are on the small side, the location and setting makes up for it. Every staff member was helpful and friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. We did opt to have the breakfast there every morning and it was delicious in the most beautiful setting overlooking the sea. So close to the downtown area! It had everything we needed and more!"

"Our Seaview room was a very comfortable size and the hotel's location was perfect, easy to get into the main town, but also close to the mountain road on route to Vágar. The grass roof made it feel very rural. Breakfast was excellent with a good range of well prepared foods. The option of eating in the bar in the evening was very welcome"

"There are plenty of parking spaces, although exiting the hotel is a little difficult to make a right turn. The keypad of my room phone was not working, the faucet sensor stopped working and no water came out. We were casually asked to use a shared bathroom on a different floor before a technician can fix it on the following day. They had no intention to address the phone problem either. Service level is under par for a four star hotel."
