Our stay at the Havgrim Seaside Hotel was fabulous. Great view. Beautiful room. Convenient. The bathroom situation was a bit awkward unless you are very comfortable with your room mate. There was a clear glass door which meant there was no privacy.

I loved the staff. They were so kind and welcoming. I loved the location, it was central to everything and right on the coast. Extremely beautiful. And the breakfast was great. This hotel really made you feel warm inside. You felt like it was your own home. It was wonderful. Thank you again and we can’t wait to come back.

So-called “Deluxe room with sea view” was on the lower level, with very limited sea view and was extremely small and claustrophobic. If this was “Deluxe” I cannot imagine how small a standard room must be. More like Fawlty Towers than an upper range hotel. And some very strange restrictions on when you could check out (if you want to check out before 10 am you must do it the night before, but you must be out by 12 noon). Also small annoying things like having to pay extra if you wanted to use the hot tub. Do not recommend…

Virkelig en god udsigt. Morgenmaden var også god men vær opmærksom på, at der bliver ikke gjort rent såfremt man ikke beder om det og værelserne er forholdsvis små. Placeringen var dog god men stedet levede ikke op til forventningerne og prisen.

Pessoal extremamente simpático e atencioso, com conhecimento sobre as informações de que um turista necessita. Instalações boas e com vista muito bonita para o mar. Bem localizado, próximo ao centro da cidade. Café da manhã muito bom, com atendente simpático, discreto e atencioso. Única falha: cortina do quarto deixa passar muita luz, pois fica afastada da parede. Poderiam melhorar, pois no verão a noite é muito curta. Recomendo o hotel.

En skøn oplevelse

Havgrím Seaside har en fantastisk beliggenhed lige ved stranden og selve huset har en meget speciel arkitektur, med en skøn have, der ligger helt ned til vandet. Der er flere små kroge i haven med borde, hvor man kan sidde i ly for vinden. Værelserne er ikke store, men de er praktisk indrettede. Personalet var søde, men talte ikke kun færøsk og engelsk, ikke dansk. Morgenbuffeten var ganske god, og der blev serveret god kaffe, samt friskpresset juice.
