Roomy, clean, quiet and everything you need. Great location with beautiful church across street (bells quiet from 8-8), garden half block down, large grocery store 7 minute walk, gelato and pastry shops and hot plates next door. Ten minute walk to historic center. The staff is like fresh air on a sunny day - everything is "no problem". Wished I was staying longer!

Hat uns nicht gefallen

Wir haben diese Unterkunft 3 Monate im Voraus gebucht mit der Angabe einer lokalen Telefonnummer. Leider wollte uns die Unterkunft dann telefonisch kontaktieren und wollte uns unter der falschen Nummer erreichen. So wusste wir leider nicht, das wir einen Code brauchen und selber einchecken sollten (Es wurde nicht über diese Plattform kommuniziert). Somit war der Check-In leider ein Desaster. Weiter steht Check-In bis 1900 und wir kamen um 1845 an, nur um festzustellen, dass die Repetion nur bis 15:00 offen ist (Auch im Zimmer stehen die alten Zeiten!). Die Gastgeber können nur italienisch und nur ganz gebrochen Englisch, was die Kommunikation sehr schwierig macht. Als wir ankamen, waren noch Haare in der Dusche. Das Zimmer/Badezimmer war direkt auf die Strasse ausgerichtet und in der Nacht fuhren immer wieder laute Motorräder und Autos vorbei. Es ist also unter keinen Umständen eine ruhige Unterkunft! Ausserdem stank die Bettwäsche nach abgestandenem Wasser. Die Vorhänge sind nicht blickdicht, auch nicht diese vom Badezimmer. Die Fenster waren schwer zu schliessen. Die Ausstattung war in Ordnung mit der Küche und den Kochmöglichkeiten (Studio). Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht mehr buchen und können sie auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem Hinterhof und wirkt wie eine Oase in der Umgebung. Die Innenstadt erreicht man schnell zu Fuß. Es war alles sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben die Unterkunft für die Durchreise genutzt und waren sehr zufrieden, würden sie für diesen Zweck jederzeit wieder buchen!

Ottima esperienza grazie anche alla disponibilità e gentilezza del personale del bed and brekfast nonché l'utilissima iniziativa di mettere la prima colazione direttamente in camera risparmiando anche i costi per una sala ad essa dedicata. Tale iniziativa, a mio avviso, andrebbe estesa anche a tutti gli hotel che prevedono la formula della prima colazione all inclusive lasciando al cliente la piena libertà di organizzarsi. Sicuramente se mi capiterà di ritornare in quel di Varese verrò sicuramente a dormire di nuovo da voi
