"What a weird a** place this is. This hotel does a great job straddling the line of being friendly and unhelpful. They act like they are nice but really they just want to be mean. The hotel itself is well appointed but the presentation is a bit pretentious. It's trying to be fancy but really it's just weird. It is not family friendly. We tried to have a coffee one day in the cafe but there was no server. Then we ran into some trouble with kids pool time as the TV stated the window was 9-noon...

"Property was in a convenient location for moving around London! The rooms were ample size and offered great amenities. Rooms were quiet with no noise from other guests or outside. Spa facilities were nicely maintained and offered a very relaxing experience. Breakfast was continental and offered a good selection but could have been restocked quicker during busy periods. Staff were welcoming and friendly!"

"Staff were very helpful especially on the front desk. Room was clean. The health club is separate to the hotel but access is granted by swapping your room key for a gym fob. Riverside views from the room. The chrome cast in our room didn’t work, the staff offered to switch our rooms, but we’d just asked for the twin beds to be made into 2 singles, so remained for the convenience. "Absolutely fabulous property situated in a bustling part of the financial centre. Very close to bank underground station with numerous buses nearby as well. Public areas are beautifully appointed. All of the staff we had contact with were superb. The room was luxurious and comfortable. "I only mentioned on check out to be fair to staff but there a horrible smell of old cigarette that would get pushed out the vent normally in the afternoon evening. This needs to be rectified. In addition the housekeeping and room cleaning was very irregular. On day 1 it was cleaned about 2pm. The next day no o e came till around 6pm when it was too inconvenient to leave our room"
