"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! I had the unfortunate incident of grazing against it twice wand caused a cut both times. I’ve mentioned to the front desk and the lady apologised and said she will notify the management about it. "I stayed in room 1007, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing from the moment I arrived. The hotel uses a digital key system that sends a link to access your room. My digital key did not work, so I had to go back downstairs to get a physical key. While I was there, I noticed other guests were having the same issue. My biggest concern was security. The elevators allow anyone to enter and select a floor without scanning a room key, which means non-guests can access the guest room...

"This hotel is perfect for a quick getaway. The staff were so helpful during my stay. My room was good, perfect for a solo trip. The only thing is that I could hear the other room close & shut their door which was directly across from my room. However, the location is convenient not too far from Joe’s Pizza & walking distance with the World Trade Center Memorial."

"This was the perfect hotel for a solo trip. Clean, comfortable, great location, and the staff was super friendly. The only negative i saw was that the bathroom door had an open spot instead of a doorknob - no big deal for me, but people traveling together might want more privacy!"

"Finally stayed at the famous New Yorker hotel after 15 different trips to NYC. The location was very busy given it is right by Penn Station & MSG, but nonetheless, very convenient! The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel itself though… very very VERY outdated. The walls looked dirty but it appears it was just the wallpaper? Our bathroom was very old and the toilet started leaking the day before we left. The shower also had a few broken pieces. Water pressure was insane. I was very excited to...

"The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. However, the room was super small. No kiosk to scan barcode at although my email stated they had one so I had to wait in line to check in. A bit noisy in the morning. Enough to wake me out my sleep."
