"This is a lovely hotel, conveniently located near Fenway Park and the Charles River Esplanade. It has an old world charm with modern amenities. The service was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was clean and well-appointed, and includes turn down service. Comfortable bed. Surroundings are quiet. "This was such an enjoyable stay. The hotel is transitioning into a Marriot Bonvoy. I hope it doesn't change. The room was clean and well-designed. The breakfast was fantastic. I loved the tea choices. The areas to sit and work were amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location to the convention center. Really, one of my favorites of all time! "

"We thought the room and service was ideal. We had a decent view from the eighth floor (we prefer the higher floors). There was no hotel "scent" which was appreciated. It was a clean room that maybe had a slight whiff of fresh laundry which is ideal. The staff were gracious, accommodating, and helpful. The lobby felt high-end and "slozy" (sleek and cozy; a true accomplishment in design—often tough to successfully marry these disparate characteristics). "
