This was a great location with friendly staff and amenities. Breakfast was simple but good. We were able to rent kayaks. Would definitely stay here again. However, there is another much nicer hotel located closer to the heart of town that has a much more affordable sauna (about $10 USD vs $40 USD per person) that has a better view and restaurant. Pricing between the two is comparable, so if the other location has availability it is a better option than this location.

Evelyn on the front counter was very helpful and friendly. The view from our room was amazing, nothing else like it. The rooms are simple but cosy. Note, there is no TV in the bedrooms but in the two lounges there are televisions to watch. It’s a short walk to everything however most shops are closed on Sunday.

Average hotel with poor facilities and service

The location of the hotel was great as was the view from the room. The dinner menu was limited but quality was good, however breakfast was very bad and the coffee was burnt. We were in the junior suit, it was a large room, but the furniture was dated, the room and the bathroom were not clean. There was no soap in the dispensers and no paper napkins/tissue. The hotel was understaffed and that did affect the service, since there was no housekeeping or room service. Overall an average hotel over priced for the quality being offered.

Great location for getting around the area. Wonderful fjord view from room. Lovely little veranda for sitting and watching life. Loved the view!!! Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

L hôtel mérite une sérieuse rénovation mais les chambres sont très correctes avec une vue exceptionnelle. Belle terrasse dont nous n avons hélas pas pu profiter pour notre petit déjeuner vu la pluie. Petit déjeuner correct sans plus. Bon accueil

Dårlig standard i forhold til pris

Rommet var tydeleg fuktig og lukta mugg, på badet var det lause fliser på golvet. Når ein trakka på flisene bobla vatnet opp etter ein har dusja. Veit ikkje om andre rom har like dårleg standard, dette var i kjellaretasjen, einerom, og bør ikkje brukast. Har gitt beskjed til personalet. Dessverre også skuffa over frukosten. Spesielt dårlig kaffi, som ikkje smakte kaffi i det heile tatt. Vi gav beskjed to gonger til personalet, men ingen endring, heller ikkje neste morgon. Ser på tidlegare anmeldelsar at dette er blitt kommentert fleire gonger. Ellers greit med enkel frukost, men då viktig at det er godt det som er der, og at personalet passer på å fylle på når det er tomt. Dette blei ikkje gjort og vi måtte stadig spørje. Kokte egg skal heller ikkje vere kalde og grønne, noko eg ser også er blitt kommentert tidlegare. Positivt med ein fantastisk beliggenheit ved fjorden!
