We had a good experience with our stay. We had issues with having no hot water but they addressed the issues effectively. They use salt water so they provided us with clean drinking water to brush our teeth, and enough to wash the bottles for our baby. It’s loud at night, you can hear the music at the place next to it. Other than that our bed was clean and comfortable, room AC is nice and cold. Having access to the beach was nice.

Beautiful hotel located directly at the beach. The staf is great and delivers good service. The shops and restaurants are all in walking distance of the hotel. Really nice place to get some peace and have nice food and cocktails at the beach!

It has all the amenities and beach access of a larger resort with a small resort atmosphere.the service was great the staff was friendly and attentive and it was near a convenience store for basic essentials although a larger resort has more socializing you get direct beach access, music, and service and the pool was very clean.Everything youd expect in a tulum resort...rooms were very comfy however it needed a litle more comfortable seating for those that enjoy breaks from playa indoors..

The rooms were nice and clean. Everyday there was fresh water after room cleaning. We came at a bad time so the beach was nasty. The sink and shower water are salty so be careful with that. The staff was great the pool was nice and it was a good stay overall

The location is unbeatable, with direct beach access and stunning views. We enjoyed staying at this place a lot. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals, perfect for relaxing by the beach. I highly recommend this place, and we definitely plan to come back next year!

Very nice!

Alquimia Hôtel was perfect for me and my daughter. The staff was friendly, attentive and always helpful. Our room was spacious. The beach area was nice and relax, with a good playlist everyday. The food at the restaurant was good. We would book there again. Thank you Manu and all the staff at Alquimia.

The location is great, nice and quiet but not far from clubs and restaurants - if you want. The beach is incredible. In general it's fine, and it gets really good when you take in mind the mandatory “Propina” ;)

Very nice location right on the beach toward the south end of the hotel zone. Very friendly and helpful staff, at the front desk and at the beach. The shaded beach beds under the palm trees are wonderful! Very good food and drinks, but a little expensive. I stayed for 5 days with my 14-year-old son. Our room was nice and clean and had AC that we only used at night to save energúmeno. Not super big room, but I took the cheapest one I could find. Perfec

We loved our first visit to Tulum!

We loved our stay at Alquimia and highly recommend it! The staff were so welcoming and attentive and gave us great recommendations. The room was beautiful and kept clean/stocked daily. Our room was steps away from the pool and beautiful beach - it was so easy to get to the cabanas and relax! We also saw wonderful views from the rooftop. The hotel was super close (walking distance) to a pharmacy, grocery store, and many different restaurants, so we felt so connected to everything. It was easy to take a taxi into Tulum Centro, and the staff helped us navigate how to take the colectivos, as well. The only small issue we had was with the WiFi not working, but the staff fixed it promptly! Again, we highly recommend Alquimia and hope to return!

We loved our time here! We were in the ocean front suite which provided great views and very easy access from the beach club and pool. The massages were AMAZING and the staff was very hospitable and welcoming. With the traffic, this was a fantastic option walkable to all of the great restaurants. Added bonus was Honey, the hotel dog. Next door offers daily yoga classes at 9am for $12 USD. Definitely recommend!

Amazing location just steps from the beach. It’s a neat idea to use shipping containers and with the upgrades, we didn’t feel like we were in them. They extended them out so it’s more than just a container. The inside was Tulum sheek and had all the basics. The bed was a little uncomfortable but maybe it was just our unit. We had the basic and maybe it was more meant for one person. The cabana restaurant was great vibes and we loved how dog friendly it was.

love the outdoor showers, clean room and service was on point. we wished we could have stayed longer but had prior hotel reservation in the party zone which was not to our liking. Alquimia was so accomodating and staff were super friendly. The place was absolutely beautiful, especially with the room we stayed in. The view of the beach sold it to us as we can just walk out and the beach is right there. The only downfall was due to heavy rain we got water inside our room and the hot water didn’t seem to work as strong. However, The staff made it extra romantic with doing our room with cute towel animals and rose petals. If you want to relax by the beach on a day bed sipping on cocktails this is for you!

Overall great option to stay in Tulum beach. Definitely recommended. Only drawbacks were minor, like sometimes shower pressure was a little low (in Malakit room) and that the bathtub was only decorative and not really for use, although it makes sense. The pros were mainly the friendly and very helpful staff, the quiet environment, excellent location and nice property.

This place is just a dream! Adorable rooms, absolutely perfect beach and view, food and drinks are good but pricey compared to bars and restaurants around. Staff is amazing, friendly and helpful even if they don’t speak much English. They all took good care of my daughter and I, and accommodated all my requests! We were there the last week of October and it wasn’t crowded at all which it was absolutely perfect! Eddy gives the best massages and was awesome with my kid! One of the last nights the staff invited us to release baby sea turtles and that was just a dream coming true! An unforgettable experience!! If I’ll be back to Tulum I will stay here again for sure!

I loved our stay at Alquimia hotel! Our room was right on the beach, and the most incredible views on the ocean. We loved our bed, super comfy and our room was very large for our family. We had our baby girl who is 18 months stay in our space too, and they provided us a large enough crib. The kitchenette eas good also, with the basic needs and the fridge was a great size . The day beds on the beach were also super comfy and always available for guests. My only criticisms are the food and drinks are way overpriced so we got most our food at Chedraue and cooked our breakfast and lunch. The pool also isnt really cleaned or maintained well and the area around it is a bit dangerous for children. Staff and so incredible and accomodating! We loved the cleaning crew and the RMT eddy is wonderful! His massages were so good! We all had a fabulous stay !!

This was our first time staying here. We were here for my wife's birthday the place was a awesome. Check in was a breeze, our room was one of those containers ours was called neos, and it was perfect for the minimalist that I am. Cold ac clean towels and no bugs in the room is all i need. Loved the outside open air rest room, water temp for the shower worked, so that was a plus. Room service kept the bedding and towels fresh. Felt safe the whole time. There was a slide lock on the outside fence door and the inside door lock was solid. Our room was really close to the beach and the beach beds were comfortable I fell asleep for awhile out there. The staff was beyond amazing. Some baby sea turtles that hatched didn't make it out the night before and the staff asked us if we'd like to help send the turtles on their way the following night, and we did by releasing them into the sea. We had a delicious breakfast every morning and it was good everytime time. Everyone of the staff I interacted with was very pleasant and extra nice. Smiles all around. Walking distance from many food, shopping, relaxation and adventure options. We made sure to spend 1 whole day beachside and it was spectacular. They keep the area clean and looking great. Check out was at noon and was smooth. I highly recommend this hotel. And will definitely return. Thank you Hotel Alquimia for your hospitality. We appreciate all the hard work you guys put into making sure we had an incredible stay.Cheers
