"Fantastic hotel on the outskirts of the city centre. You’re able to take a nice walk into town. We passed the train station on the way into the city centre so easily walkable from there. It’s close to the curve theatre and the parking is included. The breakfast was very good. The staff here were lovely and made this a place I would return to stay at."

I would have given it 5 stars if the shower head was not broken, but we did manage to shower with difficulty. "We had a fantastic stay at The Barnsdale, such a beautiful, relaxing and picturesque venue. We enjoyed use of the spa, which is beautifully done, small and intimate. Evening meal in the Brasserie was delicious with fabulous service and breakfast was just as delicious, with lots of choice and was well organised.
