"Breakfast is not there, string point, buffet style, with very limited options for hot food and a toaster section that takes an episode of Coronation Street to produce my toast. The bar is nice but very small, and the evening meal is not much to write home about. Fire alarm went off at 6am both mornings of my stay, and not even an apology from reception when I checked out, just people smoking in the rooms, what can I do? The rooms you can tell are undergoing some transformation, but mine was very tired, and my bath panel even danced for me when I opened the door. The grounds are beautiful, and possibly within time, this hotel will be a gem again, but I was disappointed with my stay overall"

"Easy shuttle to and from airport. Clean, comfy room with good supply of tea/coffe and extras available in the lobby as needed. Breakfast was lovely, great selection of both hot and cold items, all tasty and fresh. "
