Sunio hotel was very nice. The continental breakfast that was included with the stay at the hotel was good. The breakfast included eggs with sausage, fried beans, chilaquiles and coffee. I would stay at Sunio Hotel agan in the future. Thank you.

Our room was in the very back next to the dumpsters and staff went in and out of that door the whole evening into the early morning. One ma was singing at the top of his lungs while taking the trash out. Hallways and room had NO carpeting everything echoed extremely loud. The shower sprayed out rust water for a good 2 minutes. Therefore we were not able to shower. There were no hangers in the makeshift closet area so we had to lay our clothes out on the countertops. Now to the FOOD …… best breakfast we’ve had in TJ. Compliments to the chef and wait staff in the dining room. Great location for upscale restaurants and entertainment as it’s just 2 blocks from an outdoor mall. Oh one more thing. The bed was ad hard as a rock if that is something you enjoy then it’s perfect. Sadly it left my back and neck super sore the next day. While walking down the hallways we peeked into open rooms and saw dirty old mattresses on the beds. Definitely will no be returning here and will advise friends to avoid as well.

It's located in a good location where you can have everything nearby. Staffs were helpful & kind. List of things I didn't like are 1. TV remote didn't have batteries. It was late check in so not a lot of staffs around to get it sorted. 2. Power outlets near beds have bad connection. 3. Aircon had no remote. 4. No room slippers. It did not feel comfortable to walk on slippery tiles floor with bare feet. 5. No place to hang your coats. 6. Wifi connectivity wasn't great either.

A good experience.

You can tell the building has seen better days, but it is clean. Although there was a language barrier (nothing a smart phone couldn't solve), the staff tried to go out of their way to fulfill our needs. I loved the open-air area around the pool and how it bled into the undercover area of the building. The outside was inside, so to speak. The shower in the bathroom didn't have a curtain, but the bathroom was designed for that: two drains. I wasn't used to the entire bathroom floor being wet, but it worked. I enjoyed the restaurant in the mornings, it was a good way to start the day. It was located several floors up with an overlook of the city... very cool. The breakfast is served to you, no buffet, also the meal is the same every day, no variation. We took advantage of it for a few days during our week stay, but we ended up going out somewhere else for the rest of the time. It was a good experience overall, and the price was very reasonable. It seemed to be a popular place, with lots of people around. The underground parking was tight, but there were plenty of parking spots between the three levels. You just have to be careful navigating the supports holding up the floors above.

The hotel looked completely different from the pictures online. The photos made it seem clean, updated, and well-maintained, but the room itself was pretty run down and definitely showed signs of wear. I was disappointed because the pictures gave me a completely different expectation of what I was booking. The photos should be updated to accurately reflect the current condition of the rooms.

I didn’t get the room I booked. The door knob was getting fixed, then said it was only one night and it was not, on the third night they had the knob fixed but the AC was not working. So I end up staying on a room i didn’t booked, and was drastically downgraded from a 2 bedroom suite to a standard room.

Would NOT recommend this hotel! They promote free breakfast but it’s only for adults, not kids! Our room had an old school A/C system, ground level and it was just pouring water to the ground. Keep in mind I’m pregnant and the last thing I want to do is slip and fall, when we told the receptionist about our room condition she basically just said it was normal. Didn’t over a different room or anything. When we went up stairs for the breakfast there was only one water, we waited to get served over 50 minutes and he just seemed very overwhelmed. This stay was unpleasant in all aspects!

The picture on the website isn't like the hotel at all. We had roaches in our room, the beds were full size instead of queen, and some other guest was banging on our door, demanding we open it. He eventually figured out it was the wrong suite and left.
