"This hotel is disgusting. There was hair everywhere, mold growing in the walls, a leaking shower that left nasty brown stains in the tub, food and other substances on the wall, peeling paint, open space between the door and frame, yellow and brown stains on the mattress cover, and an awful smell of mold and a lingering musty odor. We did not stay and checked out immediately. The hotel wouldn't refund us for the stay despite the unsanitary conditions and we are out of the money for this hotel as...

"Room and bathroom were dirty. Cobwebs and diet everywhere in the room. Toilet seat was broken and the toilet needed cleaning. Repairs made to the room were very badly done. Dog constantly barked. Room doors do not shut properly so they have to be slammed. Slamming was heard during the whole stay. Staff are friendly and Continental breakfast was appreciated."

"Beautiful hotel and convenient location for the reasons we were in town. The bathrooms are modern and bright and does not show the typical wear of hotels that have aged. Although we are familiar with Bluetooth available mirrors, the one in our bathroom was not connecting. Our two disappointments would be with the coffee offered in the room. The old or traditional method of 'pour over' isn't appealing nor gives you an real cup of coffee. Plus waiting until 7a when the Cafe opens to make...

"The staff who greeted us as we checked in were exceptionally kind and helpful. Moreso than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in the last couple years in the US. We had zero issues, breakfast was hot and delicious. Best biscuits I’ve had in a long time. I would return!"

"The room was very clean and comfortable. I liked having a balcony. The smart TV with Netflix, etc., is a plus. The curved door walk-in shower felt roomy. Although the property is dated, it does appear to have been relatively well maintained."

"The property grounds are absolutely beautiful with multiple cottages, gardens, lakes, and outside seating areas by the water. Harry's Restaurant on site has great food and a lovely outdoor seating area where you can watch the ducks, geese and white swans float by. Unfortunately, the lodging in the main two-story building is nothing special and does not match the exquisite property. We had just a one-night stay so didn't get to use the amenities and activities."
