Secluded surrounding in Beautiful area near downtown Warrenton.
Large swans swim in the lake near your room . Multiple buildings on site with rooms /
lodging.
Nice updated room, wonderful and friendly staff, beautiful grounds with gardens and walk trails. Nice onsite restaurant. Overall a great experience and would definitely come back.
What a lovely place to stay and visit. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept. The staff was great. The amenities were what you could expect at a much bigger resort property.
Awesome location, Service is TOP notch.
On a note of need for improvement is that It is not ADA friendly when it comes to getting from Garden area to The Reception Pavilion. Either a flight if stone stairs or up a grassy hill ( no path) and then leaving the Pavilion you have a raised wooden walk to parking lot that was poorly light ( Had lights only on a small part of walk). Very hard to see. Again Great service Staff. We had two gentlemen(staff) assist with umbrellas but no flash lights..
So again, so happy with our stay. The buildings and ADA room we had no problems with.
Thank you
The property grounds are absolutely beautiful with multiple cottages, gardens, lakes, and outside seating areas by the water. Harry's Restaurant on site has great food and a lovely outdoor seating area where you can watch the ducks, geese and white swans float by. Unfortunately, the lodging in the main two-story building is nothing special and does not match the exquisite property. We had just a one-night stay so didn't get to use the amenities and activities.
We love the old charm this hotel offers, while the rooms are cozy and new!

The grounds are beautiful. We stayed right after the holidays so not as many amenities were available as are during other times of the year. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was helpful.
Beautiful property with very helpful staff. Quiet and relaxing.

The grounds were beautiful, and we enjoyed that part very much. Also, the food was quite good.
However, the room was lack luster and very plain. The property states that it is very green friendly, but that doesn’t quite equate into what we encountered. We had to run the shower for 10 minutes or more to get somewhat warm water. The tissues were so thin that we had to use several at a time, wasting paper. The A/C was stuck on cold, and we literally froze. We told the front desk, but I guess our stay wasn’t long enough to get these issues resolved.
If they are truly green conscious, they really need to focus on the little things that make a big difference. We especially hate wasting water, so the shower was a big negative for us. If these issues are addressed, the Airlie would be a worthwhile place to stay.
A truly beautiful location -- private with lovely grounds. The staff went out of their way to be welcoming. Accommodations were nice; good value for the money.
We needed a place to stay for one night on our trip, and this was a very nice place to spend the evening. We ate at the bar of the restaurant and Melissa our server was great! The grounds are beautiful!
