"The staff were friendly- it was already 8:30 pm when we checked in- we went to room - I turned the covers down to look at the sheets- on my bed the sheets were not crisp- there were something that looked like crumbs in the sheet and there was a hair on the sheet. I put my blanket over the sheets to sleep there. the double queen room seemed too small it slept 4 but only had 2 sitting chairs and not enough space for luggage. "The hotel had only been open about a month when we stayed, and it seemed only the 5th floor was in use while the others were being remodeled. Despite this, we heard no construction noise at all! The rooms were clean, modern, and everything seemed brand new. There’s a nice common area, which worked well for my remote meetings, and the complimentary breakfast was good. "I am not really sure why the reviews here so poorly match the state of the hotel. It’s run down and a more than a bit grubby. The staff are lovely and helpful and do their best to take care of you but it doesn’t really make up for the fact that the hotel needs some serious upkeep. "
