"Perfect location! Quaint spot just outside of the city centre close to UoB. Sam and reception staff incredibly friendly. We could have chatted for hours if we didn't have an itinerary of things we needed to complete before the end of the day! Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"it was incredibly clean, it was exactly what i wanted. i needed somewhere with a large fridge and a microwave to heat up food and store all the drinks needed for this kind of weather. the only downside for me personally was the tv didn't have all of the popular streaming apps on the interface and the chromecast feature was a bit glitchy."

"I really like this place. THe only negative was that there is no USB port in the room, or anywhere in the carpark to charge an electric vehicle. Parking is easy and plentiful. Breakfast is great. Din't actually meet a single member of staff except in the pub (where they were very pleasant) - so i cannot really comment on the staff. It would be ice to actually see someone or have the facility to ask a question etc"

"I go every year to Solihull and I have tried Voco several times. Every time there is something wrong or it is the smell of curry in the corridors or it is the check in or out. This time, the checkout time was at 11 and we came back from breakfast 10:50, to collect our bags and check out but our key didn’t opened the door. "The property is quirky and has a boutique feel in a very attractive building. However the room was not well maintained with a cracked pane of glass in the window, grubby corners, badly marked paintwork. Having booked the room online and seen it - I was not advised that the room was in the attic, and that there were 2 flights of stairs to access it. the second one being very steep and narrow. If I had been given this information I would not have booked this room. The parking was good and well...
