"I was having a difficult day when I arrived but then I was greeted so warmly by Darcy and Gemma, they made me feel so welcome that my day turned around instantly! "We stayed two nights. The hosts were amazing. Great choice for breakfast. Very convenient for the town. The bedroom was quiet with a lovely view to the garden. Didn’t realise there was a fridge until the last day!! We will return hopefully when the weather is better"

"There was some renovation taking place during our stay. This didn't impact our stay but it worth noting that there was work going on throughout the duration. The staff were brilliant and really helpful. The parking is limited but great value if you are travelling by car and able to stay."

"From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. "Neat place above the pub. If staying in that section, the stairs are quite narrow to get checked luggage up - but doable. We booked through Expedia and it said no attendant on site - so there was confusion on where to leave our bags and we did not receive a response so we ended up paying Premier Inn to hold our bags.
