LSE Bankside House - Campus Accommodation

"Basic dorm style accommodations. Clean and quiet. But no air conditioning. Shower has excellent water pressure. Water in rooms not potable but they have a common kitchen with drinkable water etc. Daily breakfast is quite good with a full array of hot and cold all you can eat. Would definitely return as it’s close to transportation but away from the hustle and bustle."

"Totally functional room in central London and for the price you can’t really argue. Decent shower and comfortable bed and really quiet room. Towels were basic, i’d bring my own if i was staying there again. Only issue is the terrible signage around the hotel, dark cut out metal and difficult to read."

"This is a really lovely hotel and in a good location. It is nicely decorated and the toiletries in the bathroom are very nice. My only gripe is that the rooms were a lovely size but the beds in comparison were quite small. Lovely comfortable pillows but I couldn’t get over the size of the bed. I’m only 5 foot 7 but my husband is 6 foot 4, we are not large people but we struggled to sleep due to the size of the bed. Also, there is nowhere to hang your clothes as there is no wardrobe or hangers which I also found a bit odd and slightly annoying. The staff upon arrival checking in and checking out were very nice so can’t grumble. Overall, really nice and stylish property but could do with improving bed size"

"A very nice Locke hotel in a great location next to the Thames, not far from Blackfriars. The rooms are clean, comfortable and a good size with a small kitchen area. The room I had did not have an outlook, but it was definitely a good choice for a short visit. The hotel also has a cafe/bar area associated with it."
