"Overall the hotel was ok. The bed was hard and a four poster, which wasn’t very tall, so I had quite a few head bumps. We stayed during the cold snap and the room didn’t have great heating, however reception did provide an additional electric radiator which worked perfectly. Overall staff were great, parking was easy, it is dog friendly but not all rooms are from what I could gather so you should check in advance if it’s ok. "The staff were fantastic, polite, friendly and helpful, which the made it a brilliant stay. Dinner was good and very family friendly with food options for the kids. Breakfast was the only let-down, scrambled eggs were cold and tasted awful, not much choice of fruit. "

"No parking available. Carpet filthy and stained. Mould in several places in bathroom and corridor. No wifi whatsoever even though it is advertised. Drunks shouting till 1AM then drunk woman screaming at 3.30 AM. Possibly staff member. Place was full of workmen obviously not caring about dirty work boots. Lack of wifi blamed on the brewery. "

"Customer service lady was mean checking us in. No central air conditioning or heating. Room had some what fans. Clean but no amenities like fridge, iron, or microwave. Will I recommend it, yeah if you are on a low budget. If you want quality service, then don’t book this."

"Stayed here during the summer, breakfast was great, we were given a menu and a choice of continental selection. Breakfast cooked fresh so we booked again. Sadly this time we were greeted with a breakfast buffet which wasnt the same. Therefore we would not be in a rush back, hopefully the cook will ge brought back "

"The room was dirty, with cigarette butts and ash in the drawers along with dirty takeout bits, the toilet just had cleaning fluid sprayed on top of something gross, there was no tea making facilities in the room, the food seemed to be from a van outside and the cherry on top was being kept awake at 2am by a voilent sounding drunk trying to kick doors in until the police arrived, then being greeted with ripped clothes and blood on the stairs as we left."

"I have to say I waa really surprised at how nice this place was. The only issue for me (being a bigger bloke) was i couldn't fit in the shower as it only has a s.mall opening but I was able to get around ."

"Property was nice and room ok. Shower was a powerful but temperature kept varying. Bar food and drinks were nice but disappointing that on Expedia (who we booked through) it said pets stay free but on arrival charges were applied for the dog which is why I’ve given a lower rating. Did mention to the member of staff who checked us in but nothing was done about this and Expedia still shows as pets stay free "

"Spa was great enjoyed it well. Staff were amazing. The hot choclate and brownie was really nice. Nuce and quiet destination. Would recommend any one to visit there.."
