"The tv didnt work, was told a repairman was coming. Didnt see anyone. Shower was a pitiful trickle, no pressure in it. Our friends were in the room next door & had the same issues. I wouldnt recommend a stay there."

"We stayed in the refurbished train car and it was pretty funky . The shower was an old tub with a Gerry rigged shower head and the toilet was in a very small room( original bathroom) with a sink with broken fixtures. However it was definitely one of the most unique places we have stayed at and everything did work ok . Just felt like we were camping indoors. It was cozy I must admit. Very nice staff good breakfast "

"Nice property, rooms are a little smaller than they appear on the photos but fairly standard size for this kind of place. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and parking was very easy. Only thing to be aware of is the shared bathrooms get very cold at night since they leave the windows open so be prepared if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night."

"The staff were great, without them I wouldn’t bother to review. It all looks very very dated…like nothing has been upgraded for about 25 years. Our room had a small double bed and a single so we slept in separate beds…the mattresses were comfy but the single bed was pushed up against the wall and the pillows were terrible, really cheap, flat and thin. Old towels a bit threadbare. There was a cold night so we put the heating on, next morning there were pools of water from condensation dripping...

"Absolut fantastisch. Das Hotel ist wunderschön mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Die Eigentümer und das Personal sind unglaublich freundlich und machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem. Der Ort ist sehr idyllisch und zum Milford Sound sind es nur 1,5 Stunden mit dem Auto. Das Apartment besteht aus Schlafzimmer, Bad, Toilette, Wohnzimmer und einer Terrasse mit Blick auf den See. Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt."

"The laundry service was good, very clean and efficient washing machines and driers. The bed mattress, in our room was very uncomfortable, a suggestion would be to consider replacing it. The end unit was under an external stairwell leading to units above, when the stairs were in use it was noisey. Lovely motel overall. Suggestion; Book for units upstairs and/ or not end units on lower floor."

"Beautiful property! Great location 5 minute walk to town centre, restaurants and shopping. Laura & Derek were very welcoming and serve an EXCELLENT cooked breakfast! There recommendations were perfect for us. Clean well appointed room. Hot tub was a nice touch and the Garden very nice. Highly recommended."

"Generally ok place to stay. Has everything you need like all other hotels. Unfortunately the 1 bed apartment are not sound proof. So we had a poor nights sleep with hearing the people above us walking around and playing music until midnight and then car doors closing at 7am. The rooms don’t feel very private either with big glass doors in the bedroom and lounge so you have people walking past and looking in. Also worth noting, no air con "
