I was very disappointed with my stay for several reasons:
Upon arrival, it was raining heavily, and my assigned room was located far from the reception. As I didn’t have a car, I requested a room closer to the reception for convenience, but was told that the property was fully booked. Unfortunately, no assistance was offered to help us with our luggage in the rain.
The room had a noticeable smell when we first entered, which made the stay unpleasant from the start.
On the second day, I informed the reception that the TV in our room was not working properly (poor signal/unclear picture). I was told it would be checked, but when we returned in the evening, nothing had been done.
The area did not feel very secure. We left our umbrella outside on the bench, and by the next morning, it was gone. Since it had been raining consistently during our stay, this caused further inconvenience as we had to walk in the rain without any protection.
According to the room information file, guests could request additional amenities from reception. However, when I asked for more milk and coffee (which had not been replenished in our room), I was questioned and told to buy milk from the shop instead.
Overall, the reception staff were not welcoming. I felt scrutinized and micromanaged every time I approached them with a query. The general attitude was unfriendly and unhelpful.
This was not the level of service or hospitality I expected.
