"Dean and Paul were exceptional hosts, and within minutes after our arrival it felt like we were visiting with old friends. It truly was one of the warmest and friendliest environments I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel. Paul’s skills as a chef were amazing, as well! The breakfasts were superb and the lone dinner eaten at the hotel was also memorably delicious. Clean rooms, super staff and a great location for exploring central Scotland, the Birchwood Pitlochry checks all these boxes...

"The hotel itself is looking a little tired in places, but the bedrooms have been tastefully redecorated and have everything you need - comfy bed, good bathroom with shower cubicle, hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, large smart TV, free WiFi and even an ironing board and iron. It wasn't an issue for me, but the lift to the third (attic) floor wasn't working, and it wouldn't have been fun to carry large, heavy suitcases up the narrow stairs.
