Staff were all great throughout, check-in was straightforward and painless, room was immaculate and comfortable, even better than it looked in pics. Breakfast was fantastic too (don't miss the porridge with whisky and honey!). Will definitely be back on our next trip to the area."

"Dean and Paul were exceptional hosts, and within minutes after our arrival it felt like we were visiting with old friends. It truly was one of the warmest and friendliest environments I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel. Paul’s skills as a chef were amazing, as well! The breakfasts were superb and the lone dinner eaten at the hotel was also memorably delicious. Clean rooms, super staff and a great location for exploring central Scotland, the Birchwood Pitlochry checks all these boxes...

"We stayed in the Annexe , which was finished to a very high standard and had everything you needed. The quality if breakfasts available were superb, whilst the Staff were very friendly and helpful . Reason not a 5*, the location of the Annexe is the ground floor facing directly onto the main road in and out of Aberfeldy. Traffic started most mornings about 6am , tractors, HGV’s, PSV’s . "The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. "Our stay with Morag and David was phenomenal. The room was so cozy and we woke up to wonderful homemade breakfast everyday. It was located close to the ski resort with was also convenient! We had the perfect Scottish countryside ski weekend! "
