"This is a very well located, convenient and good value hotel in the heart of Shrewsbury. It is a very old and characterful building - so donโt expect any mod cons or amenities. And in particular donโt take any heavy luggage. However- the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Linens etc all up to scratch. There is no bar onsite but there is a beautiful one next door. The location is superb however for navigating the town."

"Lovely lady receptionist upgraded us to a superior double which was spacious with a large bed and great view of the church opposite, Ben, the duty manager was very efficient with the breakfasts. He got me extra tea as requested and did a lovely takeaway bag of sausage and bacon sandwich so my husband could eat later. Great staff, stylish rustic hotel. A perfect stay!"

"Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and well presented. Breakfast was self serve and plenty of it. For the future to consider in the bedroom i noticed that the electric socket is a round 3 pin by the bed. It would be better for a update socket to be put in so it allows power leads for charging the ipads/computers/ telephone while in bed. Just a suggestion."

"Lovely overnight stay in Ironbridge, short walk to the bridge, nice gardens, good parking, quiet, friendly staff and good service. We had a good meal in the evening sitting looking into the garden, sat in the same seat for breakfast, the best sausage I've eaten from a buffet breakfast, eggs cooked to order if required. Comfy bed and good shower, thanks for a lovely stay"

"Room was nice. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was great. The price of food was extremely expensive and there arenโt any restaurants or pubs close by so had to get a taxi into the town centre."

"Small but adequate room. Fridge freezer in there, not sure why youโd need a freezer ??? Somehow managed to get 3 bites on my arm overnight ? Car parking was good. Tv was good ,even got netflix on"
