"Beautiful room and amazing staff"

"Room was clean. Bathroom sink was not draining well. Took 40 minutes to get our car, which made us late for an appointment. On arrival was told we had a $30 credit from Expedia to use for breakfast or dinner at the restaurant. We decided to have breakfast but was charged $75.00. After several phone calls was told the person was wrong who told us about the credit and there was nothing they could do. Eventually offered a $15 credit. Extremely pissed. Not good service at all. "

"This was a great affordable stay!! It is very small but you get what you’re paying for. The staff was very nice and considerate. There was a random sock in the drawer under the bed so i know housekeeping doesn’t look super through. Also our ipad didn’t work in the room so we couldn’t use some features but I wasn’t in the room enough for that to matter. The decorations in the hotel were so pretty!! Overall a great experience I would stay again."

"I would most definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Boston, especially for a first-timer like myself! It is in a very touristy area and easy to find your way around. The staff was incredibly generous and very attentive no matter the time of day! For a historic property, the rooms and other common areas were extremely clean and very well-maintained. Overall, this is one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at and I plan to book again when I come back to...

"I enjoyed staying at Newbury Boston for the second time. I happened to tell Kai at check-in that it happened to be my birthday week and surprisingly there was a gorgeous petite cake in our room! Overall, the staff was very friendly and extremely professional. The gym was complete and very clean. We also had breakfast in our room birthday morning and it was delish!"
