"What was once one of my favoritehotels seems to be falling on hard times. Common area carpets are stained, bathroom shower stall had moldy caulk and 1 of the 2 elevators was broken for the entire stay. Staff was friendly and helpful."

I wouldn’t have had any issue with this if the provided fans were powerful enough to support cooling and air circulation. Meanwhile, the restaurant menu was limited and I found myself having the exact same options each day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. "Nice hostel, in the center of downtown Dundee. 12 minute walk from the train station and bus station. MacDonald, Wendy's, KFC are 4 minutes walk. Very well stocked shared kitchen. Four fridges, microwave, stove and oven. Pots, pans, silverware, knives, everything you need for cooking. No elevator, narrow stairs, five floors. Carrying a heavy suitcase up the stairs is difficult. Thin walls, outside noise enters room. Need earplugs."
