Hotel Dekat The Congregational

"A delightful rural retreat within 15 minutes walk to the centre of Rothbury. "

"I stayed in the dog friendly room which was ok but not great. The carpets were stained and when we first walked in the room we could smell dog it wasn't a fresh smell. There was a half used toilet roll in our bathroom and no fan so it steamed up quite quickly. The room was at the bottom of the beer garden so was very noisy which wasn't that much of a problem. We ordered food it was very fast and efficient, large portions and reasonably priced. The sun was in the beer garden all day. Staff very...

"Stayed here a number of times. It's perfect for a quiet retreat with no distractions such as TV or phones. Owner tim is always on hand polite and helpful. Highly recommend the place."

"Great place great rooms great staff, breakfast choice also very good"

"È stata un'esperienza meravigliosa. La struttura, accogliente e calorosa, si trova a Warkworth, paese che consiglio molto come base nel Northumberland per la sua atmosfera unica e suggestiva. La camera è moderna, ampia, dotata di un comodo letto e arredata con gusto. La pulizia quotidiana della stanza è stata compiuta in modo accurato. Menzione speciale alla colazione: buonissima! "A lovely stay in Alnwick in September 2026. We had a large room with a view of the castle. Breakfast was very good as were the evening meal options. Staff were all friendly, helpful and seemed very competent."

"Beautiful room with lots of lovely touches including the cookies and the cafeteria coffee. The choice of breakfast was really good and the coffee was great. The staff were attentive and very welcoming and gave us good suggestions of where to go and where was good to eat. A very special place we hope to go back soon. H"

"Tha staff were very helpful and polite, the hotel is well positioned for access to A1 and local bus route to Town. The room was perfect with plenty of room and an extra large bed. We had dinner in the hotel there was plenty of choice and all freshly cooked, excellent."

"Run by a lovely, very helpful couple who want your stay to be as good as it can be. Provided parking, excellent breakfasts, helpful local knowledge. The room was very clean and was refreshed & restocked each day. Highly recommended."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Lift was out of order for all of our stay which was not good as I have arthritis in both knees, left hip and right shoulder. There were a lot of stairs - this spoilt the holiday slightly for me"

"Very impressed,excellent hotel"

"This is one of the better Premier inn locations. Staff were available and it was reasonably clean. It was also quiet."

"Wipe your feet on the way out. If only some money had been spent on the hotel rooms rather than the signage. Not as advertised."

"Out of this world amazing time spent there "
