"Great place to stay. In a great location for walking holiday and visiting local attractions. Place was kept in excellent condition. Lovely views of the hills and to watch the sun go down on a night. Nice bottle of wine left by the hosts for your arrival. Left to you own devices by the owners unless you had a problem. Would definitely stay again. "

"The Dock was fabulous and exactly what I was hoping to achieve for a 1 night stay between my work days. I was gutted as I’d heard so much about the breakfast but I ended up being in such a rush so didn’t have time to have a full English but the lush lady behind the kitchen counter asked me if I wanted a sandwich making to take away. She made me a huge and the best tasting bacon sarnie with a latte to take away (proper fresh brewed coffee) she saved my bacon literally haha. As I didn’t eat again...

"The the staff were amazing. We couldn’t fault anything. On arrival we checked in at reception to be greeted with our room information and all information relevant to the hotel such as parking and food. We were shown to our room which was lovely very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. We popped over for dinner and had our son and grandson join us. Our grandson has a peanut allergy. "We stayed in room 2. Room was spacious and well equipped Lovely furnishings. Staff were very accommodating and friendly which is so important. Great location Lovely little pub close by. Would definitely recommend!"

"The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard."

"This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been.
