"We made one request prior to check-in, as we had never stayed at a Pub before. As it was the World Cup, with team England in it, I had some concern that it might be noisy all night. Nothing could have been further from the truth. They were in the pub until all hours, but our room might have been in an isolated convent it was so quiet. One passed through a series of nearly air-tight doors along a corridor, and it became quiter and quiter. So it was the best of both worlds: have a great time...

"This is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. We had the apartment with 2 adults and 2 teens. We were not in the room often so it worked. Small kitchen and table for 4. It is about 8 minute walk to Earls Court tube and near the station was a market and several restaurants. Would highly recommend"

The lift does not access the dining room which is in the basement & only accessible via narrow steep stairs - again a challenge to those with restricted mobility. "I was traveling with my wife and daughter, and from the moment we arrived, we reported that the air conditioning in our room was not working—not even the fan. We were told it would be fixed, but nothing happened. That night, we were given a small portable fan and assured maintenance would repair the AC first thing the next morning. Again, nothing was done.
