"The hotel was a bit dated, but very clean and in a great location. I must say, the ENTIRE staff was beyond nice, from the front desk, restaurant staff and housekeeping. I have stayed in 5 star hotels and never met a more pleasant staff. "

"Reserved a partial gulf view room - had one balcony overlooking the gulf and a second that had a beautiful bay view Lovely welcome with a glass of champagne and introduction to the property and all of its amenities. Great location! Signs all over the property requesting coverups required in the hotel. Guests paraded through the hotel barefoot with no coverups daily. Also hotel stated it was a non-smoking facility with $500 fines for not following this request Smoking occured daily as it came into our room and there was also vaping at the pool regularly."

"This is a very old property. There's a lack of outlets in the room. The shower drain was super corroded. Parking was decent. The door from the hotel to the outside didn't lock. The desk girl was super nice, but the place itself is not a nice hotel, I would call it a dump. I found out from my teenagers that the five star reviews are probably paid for. Definitely more of a 2 star joint"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Devon Shores in Clearwater! This was our first time visiting, and I chose this place based on all the great reviews—and they were spot on. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. You can really tell they take pride in keeping everything clean and comfortable for their guests. We also loved that we were able to utilize both pools on the property, which made our stay even more enjoyable and relaxing. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked our stay for next year! Highly recommend Devon Shores to anyone looking for a relaxing, clean, and welcoming place to stay in Clearwater."

"The room was small and didn’t have a balcony. The pictures made it seem like they all have one which was one of the draws, but we didn’t end up with one. Our TV didn’t work properly. Our bathroom door didn’t close. It would get stuck. The breakfast was basic but at least they had French toast that you could heat up in the toaster. The free parking was good and so was the proximity to the beach. You have to rent the cabanas on the beach. "
